On the occasion of his birthday today, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi gave a big gift to the country, which will directly benefit the needy and poor people. Actually, PM Modi launched the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana.
PM Vishwakarma Yojana is a government-funded scheme that aims to empower traditional artisans and craftsmen in India. The scheme was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 17 September 2023, on the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti.
This incentive amount will be given:
Besides, the beneficiaries will get a stipend of Rs.500 per day and basic skills training will also be provided.
Rs 13000 crore is to be spent on this Vishwakarma scheme, the direct benefits of which will be seen in the beneficiaries joining it.
For the first time, 18 traditional businesses have been included in the Vishwakarma scheme. At the same time, two types of skill training will be provided to the people joining this project. This includes first basic and advanced distance training.
- You will get a stipend of Rs 500
- 15 thousand rupees advance for tools
- You get a loan of Rs 1 lakh without collateral, which is to be repaid within 18 months and you can take more money later.
- Beneficiaries will get facilities like incentives.
