Driving License Online Application Procedure:

  • First, go to https://parivahan.gov.in/parivahan/ website.
  • Go to online services and select driving license-related services.
  • Then select your state.
  • Click on Learner License Application and fill the application form.
  • Upload the required documents.
  • Pay the learner license fee.
  • Select the date for the exam.

In some states, such as Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, the exam can also be taken online at home.

Steps to Driving License Renewal Online

1. Log on to the Parivahan website by pasting this URL: https://parivahan.gov.in/parivahan/ in your browser.

2. Opt for “Driving Licence Services” from the list of available Online Services.

3. Choose the state and click on “Apply for Driving Licence Renewal”.

4. Read the instructions mentioned on the next page and click “Continue”.

5. Next, fill in details like the DL number and date of birth. Enter the captcha code and click on the “Get DL Details” button.

6. You can view the Driving Licence details. Verify if all the details are correct.

7. Select the RTO, DL category, and state and click on “Proceed”.

8. On the next page, you can choose the details you wish to update and click on “Proceed”.

9. Select the service type (DL Renewal) and fill in the online form.

10. Upload the soft copies of relevant documents and click “Submit”.

11. Download or print the acknowledgment receipt for future reference.

:: You can submit the acknowledgment receipt to the RTO on the due date. After document verification, you will review the renewed driving license by post.


Steps to Driving License Renewal Online

1. Download application form for DL ​​renewal from RTO or visit RTO office in person.

2. Fill the application form properly with required information.

3.  Collect all the documents required to complete the process.

4.  Visit the Regional Transport Office and submit the application and documents.

5. Pay the applicable fees at the designated fee collection counter.

6. Collect the acknowledgement receipt for future reference.
